IN THE WOODS became a cult act during their eight years of existence after releasing albums such as "Heart of the ages", "Omnio", "Strange in stereo" and "three times seven on a pilgrimage" besides some "on the side releases" and a couple of seven inches. many people disliked the fact that the band retired, but at the night of recording the live album, 500 people came from all over europe to witness the bands final gig. There were even rumours that people came all the way from South America and australia to take part in the closure! when ITW died, Karmakomsetix was born. The idea was to use the label as a base from where the members could release new projects. This have happened to some extent (SOXPAN, STILLE OPPRR, ODDVAR A:M, NAERVAER AND TRANSIT), though there's probably more to come in the future. There's a chance we'll get back with more background on the band later, but it all depends on what you as a reader wants. The live album voted "Album of the month" in australian Metalbite magazine, is still available via prophecy productions and comes with a free Karmakomsetix sampler with fifteen Karmakomsetix related artists.
