Nærvær (Precense) is a musical project focusing on making innovative & honest music. The many moods of the human soul are being reflected by instruments like classical guitars, cello, piano, percussion, marimba, trumpet & choir.
From 1993 Nærvær has mainly consisted of Terje Sagen & Jan K. Transeth. During the studio recordings, friends and local musicians have giving their contribution to the project.
DEMONSTRATION � 95" MC
The recording of Nærværs first outcome began in the summer of 1995. The place was an old basementstudio called Jailhouse, offering a cheap recording fee, laidback production service and a beautiful analogue soundscape. The recording was finished with 30 minutes of pure mood music.

SKIFTNINGER CD
14 new compositions were released in December 2000.The music was recorded in an upgraded Jailhouse studio, with cosy surroundings and the same laidback production service. The record contains themes dating back to 1991, but mainly focus on reflections from the period 1996 � 1999.
NÆR CD
This cd contains music from 2 different periods of Nærvær. Track 1 � 8 was originally released on the MC "Demonstration � 95" in January 1996, and is now remastered an presented in a better sound quality Track 9 � 11 was recorded by in Panikkfabrikk in the summer of 2002 and have not been released earlier.
